How much does a Chicago street cleaning ticket cost?
A street cleaning ticket is $60 (municipal code 9-64-040(b)). If you don't pay or contest it in time, it doubles to $120.
Are the street cleaning alerts really free?
Yes. Email, text, and phone call alerts for your block cost nothing and do not require a credit card. Autopilot Pro is a separate paid product that also contests tickets you do get.
When will you alert me?
At 7pm the night before your block is cleaned, and again at 7am on cleaning morning. Texts come at both times. The automated phone call comes on the morning of, when it can still change what you do.
What if I move or want to stop the alerts?
Every alert email has an unsubscribe link, and your settings page lets you change your address, add or remove a phone number, or turn the alerts off entirely.
